Tom Evans, Principal at Lûcrum Marketing, Advocates A Method To Guarantee Effective Product Management & Product Marketing Practices

Many companies understand the importance of product management and product marketing. Some companies have well defined the roles, however, very few recognize if their actual implementation of the functions measure up to best practices. Without a system to measure effectiveness of your Product Management practices, there is no way to identify areas for improvement. We'll discuss a framework for assessing current product management and product marketing practices to identify gaps and weaknesses. Once the issues are identified, we'll discuss how to create and implement a plan of action to align with best practices in order to deliver successful products and services, with a lens to guarantee continuous process improvement.

“I have found that most product management organizations don't have a clear measure of their maturity and health, so in my session with the Global Product Management Talk, I hope to share some ideas that will help product management organizations establish a clear vision for their organization, assess their maturity against that and create a plan to grow and become more effective in delivering globally competitive products and services,” says Tom Evans.
